HANDOVER –TAKE OVER CEREMONY IN MMI

A handover –Take over ceremony between the outgoing  MMI Director General (DG) Col Dr Jean Paul BITEGA , and the newly appointed DG, Lt Col Dr King RUGAGI KAYONDO, took place at the MMI headquarter on 24^th January 2018.

The outgoing Director General (DG) Col Dr Jean Paul BITEGA made a brief presentation highlighting core activities of the Directorate General of MMI. The incoming DG commended the great work already done and pledged to make his contribution.

The outgoing Director General expressed his gratitude for the Ministry of defense and MMI Board of Directors leadership and cooperation that enabled him to accomplish his responsibilities. He also made a brief presentation outlining achieved and ongoing activities in the MMI.

The New DG, Lt Col Dr King RUGAGI KAYONDO expressed his gratitude towards the reception reserved to him by the RDF. He congratulated the whole team for the ‘good health "of the institution and asked them for their facilitation to support him in his mission to work in synergy for  the noble cause of the country.

The MMI Board Chairperson Mme Alphonsine NIYIGENA lauded the outgoing DG for his tireless efforts in his duties during the period he served the MMI. She took the opportunity to welcome the new DG and promised him collaboration to facilitate his now assignments.

 Col Dr Jean Paul BITEGA former MMI Director General was respectively appointed Commandant of Rwanda Military Hospital on 28 August 2017.
