MMI Advances Digital Transformation with New Online Declaration Module Training for HR Managers
Kigali, 13 November 2025
The Military Medical Insurance (MMI) has strengthened its digital transformation agenda by training 48 Human Resource Managers from affiliated institutions on its newly introduced Online Declaration Module. The initiative aligns with Rwanda’s Vision 2050, which prioritizes innovation, digitalization, and efficient public service delivery.
Held from 12–13 November in Kigali, the workshop provided hands-on instruction on using the Online Declaration System—a platform designed to streamline monthly declarations, enhance data accuracy, and improve service efficiency for beneficiaries. By equipping HR personnel with digital skills on the new module, MMI aims to ensure faster, more reliable information flow and stronger financial accountability across the health insurance ecosystem.
“The training is a key step toward building a culture of transparency, efficiency, and collaboration between MMI and its partners,” said one of the facilitators.
The Online Declaration Module forms part of MMI’s broader strategy to modernize internal systems, automate processes, and strengthen engagement with partner institutions—directly contributing to the country’s journey toward a knowledge-based and technologically driven economy.
As implementation continues, MMI will roll out additional trainings and provide continuous support to all affiliated institutions. HR managers reaffirmed their readiness to adopt the new system, while MMI reiterated its commitment to capacity building and delivering efficient, member-centered digital services.
